15 Inch sub

thats a booold statement...id say if you can get 2 15" rlp's for the price of 1 mag...go with the RLP's for sure.

look at it like this... old mags used the same motor as the Rl-P... new mags are reviewed as much better than the old ones.

make the connections.

Not all OE TC9 drivers are exactly alike, granted, but its a close comparison.

I say rl-ps for these reasons

1. You can get to Rl-ps for the price of 1 mafg

2. Thats more cone area, + and in output will defently be louder than a Mag

3. 2 !5in RL-ps would look so sexy ... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So, I'm looking at a couple different 15" subs for my car. Right now I have a pair of 12" SE's, which are good but I want something with a little more power.
Two subs I'm looking at is Stereo Integrity Magnum or the RL-p. I know the SI Magnum is much better than the RL-p but it's more money. Which would you guys get? Any other suggestions?
throw 800watts to each se and u should be more than fine

ive seen someone put 1400 on a se12 and its loud and sounds very good

80

I know someone who has a couple 3hp and 3HP+ 15's

LMT and non LMT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ;)

Oh, and TC9 15's as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif ;)

In what aspects is it better? I'm not trying to be confrontational, but I'd like to see some elaboration here if you're going to make this statement.
I've had experience with both subwoofers, in the same box. They were 12's though.

I just liked the sound of the SI, no matter what type of music you listened to... it sounded amazing.

The Rl-p is a great driver, it's just that I believe the SI edges it out in every category except price //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you. But see how that post was much more helpful? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Out of curiosity, do you remember what box you used in your Mag/RL-p comparison? Sealed or ported?
