2.3 ft^3 at 33hz would be ideal, if you think that should change tell me.

Hey Bulldog, I don't know about paying $15 for a design. There is a company by the name of Atrend Enclosures, ever heard of them? I have had many custom boxes built from them and they do not ask for a design charge. Anyways, i think they already have a box for your alpines. They designed the latest type R box for Alpine. Even if they don't have it they can build you a custom box at a reasonable price. Check them out at atrendusa.com
