A_Contraptions Senior VIP Member 170 0 NC Aug 10, 2016 #2 14v is its rated. all amps have whats known as an operating range. generically speaking, 10.5v to 15v on most. your system is referred to as 12v in your car but its actually 12.6-12.9 when car is off, 14.0-14.8 when on (car dependent) will be fine
