13Ov.2 D4's...$70.00

yes, 2 or 8. i'd grab one for HT but i'd need 4 ohm final load.
grab 2 and put it in 4 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i just bought 12 to resale them after there done $870 to my door.
packerfan bought 9, to actually put in his vehicle. Should be crazy.

So, I hate to sound like a retard, but are these subs any good? What are they comparable to?
I'm not at all familiar with eD's subs...at all.
JL w6v2's http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_pages.php?page_id=4

I have Kv.3's and they're already really loud and clean sounding as is...these should give me the little extra I was looking for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

well i picked up 2 of these! Seemed like a great price.

Im not sure if i missed it but how much rms are they?

Now what amp would be good for these??

Im kinda new to car audio.

They're 600w-800w RMS although I talked to chris at eD and he said anything pass 600w and you'll just be wasting the watts in heat, so a eD nine.1 would work fine.

I'm going to try the amp in my sig on them, as I doubt I'll really hear much of a difference in an increase of 100w for each sub if I go with 1200 watts instead of 1000 watts.

So in short answer, anything 1400 watts down to 1000 watts.

**** that's a good deal!

Too bad I already have one...it does the job too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Yeah I'm thinking about taking my Kv's and putting them in home...but I also still have a flat 12K around so I could use that too...lol.

Ok, thanks for info.

One last thing.

What ohm should the amp be at for this subs if i want 600w rms to each of them?

Like since they're dual 4 ohm the amp should produce 600wrms at 1 Ohm or 4 Ohm right?

Or is it like 1200wrms since its 2 subs wired to one amp??

Im getting these numbers looking at the wiring from ed at http://www.edesignaudio.com/wiring.php

Would the amp in this listing be good for these??

Thanks for all the help

That amp is alright I suppose...I don't know anything about it so its not my expertise. With [2] Dual voice coil 4 ohm subs (D4) you can wire it in 1 or 4 ohm, so you want 1000-1400w at either 4 or 1 ohm on the one amp.

Hopefully you understand. You seem to be on the right track at least.
