Seriously though at the end of the day, you will learn that it is mainly in the tuning of the enclosure.

Im sure none of the boxes ure using are big enough, most prefab boxes are way to small unless you have daytons lol

More then likly if you put ure 12s in the rec box size ported you would say it "hit" much harder and would be happyer then a set of 15s in another prefab box. What amp do you have? what subs?

that ported box is huge as ****, takes up my whole trunk in my little elantra lmao im just experimentig, but from what your saying it sounds like that ported box will allow em to hit harder, that sealed is tuned at around 45hz
