1200 watts enough for two type Rs?

all right so with buying books for school a and new laptop i dont have money left over that i want to spend. i see a couple amps in the classified that are about 250 but only put out 1200 watts at one ohm. so i wondering if you guys think that 1200 watts will be enough power to get the type Rs loud. i have two CVRs off a 900 watt kenwood so i just want louder than what i have now or i can go with a hifonics 1600 but the amp in the classifeds is audioque 1200 so i know im going to get atleast 1200 if not more from the aq. thanks.

that AQ is underrated. I would go ahead and get the AQ. The R's should love that power

man my buddie had 2 alpine450's to 2 alpine type R's and it was decent loud around my town he was probly 3rd - 5th loudest.......im from a decent small town but alot of people have systems.....but they ****....ima be on top soon...except maybe one guy who runs 4 15' db drives...

your r's will sound great off of 1200..it will be plenty especially in the correct enclosure

no id watch my gain and only give them about 750 each. and i bought them for 80 bucks each so i can always get new ones. lol gotta love type Rs.

that was my original plan. but ive had to spend more money for college than i thought i would. the subs have been sitting in my garage since the beginning of summer.

i was just saying cuz you said that you had no money left cuz of college.. and if you blow them its either new subs...or no ramen for like 3 months
