1200 viper run with another amp?

Anyway, what you're doing is called "piggybacking". It's a common thing. Some amps will work with it, some won't. If your amp doesn't like it, try piggybacking from the 400 watt monoblock to the Viper instead and see if that works.

All else fails, Y splitters *will* work, but I do think you'll end up resetting your gains because of the split input signal.

 
naw the 400 watt amp is gonna power the speakers. I'll probably jus end up getting a new head unit or something though

yeah... i was gonna try it out. I was going to put the high pass on and put the freq up. But since im not getting any kinda sound anyway..... hahaha
