I think maybe one 15" would be good for your car. Just put it in about 4 cubes or more @ around 30HZ. That would only need about 1000 watts @ 1 ohm so its pretty easy to find an amp for that thing. 2 12"s would be nice too but double the watts. You might not want to put that much pull on ur electrical. I say 1 15" Brahma. Other choices would be a XXX or a Magnum SI. Which ever sub will be @ 1 ohm. The brahma takes about a rms of 1200 not too sure tho, the XXX is 1600 watts rms, and mag is around 960 watts rms

You could get a good pair of 6.5 components for your front door and a amp that does around 100x2. The price would depend on how good you want your components. I would say at least 200 for a good component set. And a amp for those would be like $150-$200

K here's what you want: one XXX 15'' powered by seriously anything you can find that does 1200 watts, depending on how much you want to pay. A 15'' XXX will run you right around $450 shipped that's about $750 for an freakin sweet amp or you could just buy a moderately nice amp, say $400, and put the rest into your savings for components.

If you have any questions about the XXX just do a search and you'll find more threads about that sub than you'll ever be able to read. If your too lazy to read just ask here and i guarantee someone will have you answer.

ya a XXX would do good also. Just make sure you get the box designed and built correctly. It is crucial that you do this right. I think any where from 4.0-4.5 cubes @ 32 or 30 hz would hit hard. And for the amp i think you will get one under 400. I know they have Directed 1100D's at Ikesound and I havent heard of any problems with those. They do 1100 @ 1 ohm and it costs 240

ive said it before and ill say it again, sq on the sx's is darn good IMO. my friends xxx was of course a tad better but they are so close i dont think your gonna get much more good clean bass than you can from the setup i listed for $1000 bucks

edit: also ive found that a lot of times even though people say they want sql, they're for some reason still pulled to the spl side. they will usually sacrifice a little sq in order to get louder. i should also say that the first sentence in my other post was just a joke about not listening to your guys' suggestions. nothin personal just thought i would add something to the thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
