12 xxx vs sundown x12?

There you have it...The manufacturers site wouldn't be trying to sell a product or anything just doing completely unbiased reviews of their subs.

DD even though super beastly... are super expensive.... your best bet is probably to buy used off here.... the ssa subs are not as much as the xxx or the x series... and perform well... buy off here and you save money even with shipping.... my buddy homegrown got some minty new ssa subs for sale on here... 

Would the ssa xcons be worth $500+ shipped? Would it be better than the xxx at $500? Or even the 9512? I know if somebody posted any $300 sub on here for $500 no one would buy it but if there is a huge difference in sql from the xxx than I may just pay the extra cost for shipping.

what xxx you talking? any of the new ones yeah... any 06 and earlier models if'y!!!!!! those earlier model were beasts.... the new ones just look like beasts.... lol

I'd take SSA over new RE any day. Well worth it man.

Ok. So even at $900+ shipped 2 xcons would be well worth it? Talking about the 2013 xxx. What would be a better choice running a single 12" for sql that would crush the xxx or would a single xcon do it? Keep in mind that the shipping would be almost $200 more per sub. The 2013 xxx I can get here for $500. I don't mind paying a little more if the difference is substantial.

At that price difference maybe not. I'm sorry but I hadn't realized how huge the difference was.

Would a single zcon completely crush the xxx or would the xcon? Is the zcon a good sql sub or just spl?

If shipping costs are very high, stick with what you can get locally. None of these subs are going to sound bad if installed properly, your somewhat splitting hairs worrying abou it. Between the XXX and the sundown X, I'd go with the sundown. It's probably a bit cheaper and realistically, you won't be pushing either sub to it's limits without a very large amplifier.

nothing compares to the '02-05 RE XXX. Don't knock it til you try it. But wait you can't find motors? Because people are hoarding them. I have a pair =]
