12 type r question

Ok so im looking for amp suggestions for a single 12" Type R 4 Ohm DVC. The box it is going into is listed below. I'd like to send the sub 500-600 watts. this system will be used daily. Would like to keep the price down as much as possible.

May I suggest you this Profile amps, this one would give it 500RMS: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-NMb5gbaWkNm/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=120&I=489AP1000M for $160 with a warranty you can't go wrong. They're great bang for the buck amps also, they put out their rated power. If you do a search in the Amplifier forum for "Profile" you'll see that people are pretty satisfied with them.

edit: BTW it's a 3 year warranty, can't go wrong there

For $150 I wouldn't buy a profile especially if I only need 600 watts.

WHy dont you get a Type R in D2 run it in 1 ohm and buy my Nine.1 for $220

Harder to find on Ebay and I havent gone to the alpine dealer yet but I heard its around 400 candian. Ill see if I can find 2 ohm DVC once I get my paypal validated with the bank.

Ps wouldnt i need to run the NINE.1 at 4 ohms to get 450 watts?

I have a Phoenix Gold Ti600.2 that I ran on my R @ 4 ohms if your interested. It will do 600+@ 2 ohms pm me. How much is that in US dollars lol?

Isn't tht a little much for these subs? I've heard of the 15s taking that wattage but not the 12s. I'll probably hit you up on that Nine.1 if i get my paypal working.
