I've been thinking about upgrading from my dual eD 13ov.d4's to dual 12'' Type-R's (I'm going to keep my eD 13ov's but hopefully these Type-R's will be interesting)

Is that site legit?

Two Dual Type-R's 12'' for 255$ or so seems like a steal.

What's with the "4 ohm + 4 ohm" thing on the site?

Are these the old models or what?

I've been debating whether to try these Type-R's or not. Seems like I'll be wasting money if I switch out my eD 13ovd4's.

i would keep trying the ID for now with more power and a well plotted enclosure

I'm going to pass on the Type-R upgrade then. Unless I find a legit place to get them for 100$ each too!

jk, i would never give one 2k daily, but they will handle them on burps in a proper box.

I have put near that amount of power on the 12's. The 15's are much much better and will handle high power a lot better.
