So my Nightshade is on the way... (Bought from Cutdawg84)

I will start the box building because the sub have a loooong way to arrive home

(US - Venezuela)

I have a SQ setup, (Focal K2 Power and Polyglass Comps / SI Mag V4 Sub) for real daily, but I want something to make noise on weekends open trunk (Yaris Sedan) so I need some advice choosing tunning freq, so I decided to model with WinISD and BBPro to see

Derrick824 (Thanks man) gave me as a recomended for daily... a 3cu.ft net with 2 4"x17" aeroports, but I really don't know if is loud enought for what I want

here's the pictures of the results

Box 2: 2,910 cu.ft, Tuned to 43 hz (3 aeroports 4"x17") Red Line

Box 3: 2,777 cu.ft, Tuned to 50 hz (4 aeroports 4"x17") White Line

Music Genre ??? 20% Rock, 30% Reggae, 50% Electronic (Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers)

Some help please...

i would go with box #1,It's still going to get quite loud,
One thing I now noted is the graph of box 1, it appears to be a bandpass box... I need to be loud and do it with some quality...

There's some guy in town that have a Kicker L7 and it sound loud, but wtf if you are near the car the sound is horrible, I don't want to be like that

ahhh, box #1 appears to be a ported box, not a bandpass. any far as in concerned all of these boxes are not what your looking for. judging by your front end your a SQ guy, so the 3rd box would be best as it has the flattest responce, but you say you want some loud as well. i think if you dead set on 1 of these 3, box 2 would be the best but i think even that sucks. with out modling, i would tune at 38Hz at 3-3.2 cu ft. also with that much power and cone area your should be a low 140 even with a low tuning. my 15" SE on 1.2kw in a 34hz tuned box in my Xcab truck was 139ish, and that pretty loud for a SQ based system u can listen to ALL the time far as im concerned

also bassbox pro slots port length is off, so i would use WINisd and a pen and paper or sketch up

I said it appears to be a Bandpass because of the curve in the graph, I modeled them so I know three boxes are Ported not BP.

I think you mean Box #1 flattest response (Yellow Line), you said something about slot ports but I'll use 4" aeroports, I ordered 4 to have some room to test
