12" W7 on home stereo

ok ill have the vids up tomorrow hopefully. sorry got kinda busy at the end of the day.

Ill just end up playing bass i love you and ill see if i can find something around 5 hz but i have some crazy bass test songs with a full range of tones so ill do those

and I already made a box for it funny story about this sub.. I traded a 15" L7 that i paid $200 for for this W7 and then i put the W7 on craigslist and someone is picking it up on thursday for $425 (even though that is really low seeing how nice this thing is).. cant argue with the profit though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

alright haha ill try to find some tones then..

I know the excurrsion on this thing is INSANE on the lows the only 2 tones i have on my ipod are 40 and 50 so hopefully i can just find a download for a bunch of them

i have spare MDF but im not feeling making another box right now. its in a box at 1.75 cu ft and tuned to 32 hz as thats what i wanted in my car

Found the video camera but no batteries haha. trying as fast as i can here

WOW that W7 sounds amazing for everything. I was kind of surprised thinking that its a car sub and it wouldnt sound as nice but wow that thing is nice.

There isnt much excurrsion but it gets loud. Trying to find the charger but that seems like a lost cause right now haha

Tuning is too high for home use. It will sound boomy and lack low-end response.
not really. I think the full range sounds great and it gets very low but even if i do find the charger you cant really hear how it sounds like i can //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

No offense, but 32hz is defnitely too high for home use, you dont get the low-end transfer function like you do in a car. I dont need to hear your setup to know it reacts the same as everyone elses home audio system. If you dont want to rebuild another box, that's fine. But doing so, at a lower tuning, would definitely improve things.

Cheers.

No...this doesn't work when your objective is HT listening

It gets lower, MUCH lower
i believe you but i am only testing this out. i made this box for a car and the point of this sub was to sell it for more than i could have sold the L7 that i traded for it. I just had it sitting around and figured i would get some use out of it for the last day i have it
