12" Type X or PG Titanium Elite 12"

Both will be in a ported enclosure powered by a Phoenix Gold RSD1200. Sound quality is first priority, as well as low-end bass extension, but I would like to try and get as much output as possible too. Does anyone have any experience with these two or any numbers to post?

I've heard the Ti elites want even more power then that. Beast of a sub and sound great too.

I wouldn't port either of those if SQ is the first priority...
But sealed or ported, I'd pick the PG sub for that amp.

The PG elite will out perform the Type X in every catagory.

Ive had Type X's before and heard PG Ti Elite. I would go with the Ti Elite for sure.

I have always wanted to hear the PG titanium elites but I hear that they are pretty awesome subs.

PG titanium for sure.. Slight hijack but what about a PG RSDC 12" vs Type X?

RSDC... It's one hell of a sub especicially for the price. It's not the Elite but it is a solid sub that has really really good SQ for a sub under $150 that has the abilty to get loud. The Type X will outperform the Rsdc in SPL and IMHO thats all.

I would go with the Rsdc. I have two and just won a sound comp with them. You could put a clean 1200watts rms to one. I know people that are doing so.
