I'd go for a different amp that would give it more power if I were you.

nine.1 makes full power at 1 ohm but you can't hook up a type x up at 1 ohm

Strapping two kx2500s would be retarded, you would have to run each of em at 4 ohms. Hooking up one one kx2500 to it is also be pretty dam pointless.

An mtx 1000d, 81000d, 1501d would all work well.

I sold my buddy my old school RF power 1000a1 and I must say his x with that amp wangs like a mother and sounds excellent.

With a middle sized sealed box I could even see going up to the bd1500 or the mtx amps I had mentioned earlier.
