12" sub on 1 cube sealed box?

1 cube is the biggest sub box I can get due to very small trunk of my car (s2000).

The box is sealed box and I want to put 12" type R.

Is this too much or should I go for 10"?

Go with an 8" or a 10"

You can go w/ a memphis.....they do well in small sealed boxes. Memphiscaraudio.com

put an IDQ 12 in there, doesnt need alot of power and sounds great.

S2000 Type R setup....I would be interested in how the Type R sounds in that sealed enclosure...also what kind of amp you have pushing that. I too am doing a similar project but in a Dodge Magnum.

I've been told the Type R is more for SQL than for SQ. If anyone could confirm.

What are you going to use for an amp? If I were you and had only 1ft^3 I'd pick up an Ascendant Audio Havoc 12'' and send 1000-1500 watts to it and enjoy. I've read they do really well sealed.
