12" Solox or cvx?

Hi I currently have 3 cvx's in my car. I have the opportunity to get a 12" SoloX for a good price. Do you think it will compare to my 3 cvx's if i swapped them out with the SoloX?

What will be the differences?

Will be powered by the same amp: kicker zx2500.1

all depends on size, but your probably better getting something else entirely.

3x 12" CVX = ~340 sq. in. of cone area

1x 12" Solo X = ~144 sq. in of cone area

With the CVX you have over double the amount of cone area, so I would assume they would be louder. Now, if you had 2 Solo X's on the other hand, that would be a different story
