People say they have poor sound quality because they are jealous that the L7s are louder than what they got. Itd be obviously bs if they said "They arent loud" or something, cuz its so clear that they are. So they bs about "sound quality" and how fast its response is. I think they aren't the cleanest, but definitely nowhere near "dirty" or "***"

MY friend had two 12" L7's in his tahoe. they were really loud but ive heard better sound quality..

Great SPL and Poor SQ

IF installed incorrectly....waaaaayy too much SQ history to prove otherwise....

install for loud, expect lack of SQ, visa versa, install for SQ, expect less output.

I really hate when people mention the SQ championships as a testimonial to the sub's ability. Gary Biggs could make an Abahn sound amazing, for one. And for two, those systems are judged at a relatively low listening level. No offense to you Polecat, and not taking away from the driver's capabilities, but to state Gary Bigg's as an example of what the sub can do isn't really a good real-world example. Really? I was planning on getting one 12" L7 for my new baby (Expedition). But i lean more towards SQ. I recently owned two 10" CVX's and loved the sq on em'. But i've never heard the L7s.
