T turbovdub 10+ year member Junior Member 28 0 NJ Jan 27, 2007 #1 looking to buy one of these subs. have heard they can be extremely picky when it comes to the enclosure they are in. i will be looking into powering it with a kicker 06zx1000.1 which should give me about 800rms @3ohms. i would like to evaluate both sealed and ported options. (leaning towards ported tho) what would be the cu.ft. on a sealed box? what would be the cu.ft. on a ported box? and the frequency it should be tuned too? dimensions would be nice too if you have them. thanks Click to read more...
