12 - 12" hifonics HFI subs

i must not have made it clear enough, ok here goes.
he intentionally made a shitty *** box with 1/2 the airspace they require, and didnt even power them to rms wattage. he did it just as a gimmick to show that they were efficient even in less than optimal conditions.

the same guy also in a trunk car with 2 12's broke the drive by world record on stock electrical, then made a second pass for the crowd and blew his windshield out at almost 2 db more! just to say he did it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would do 8 ported on 450 rms at least to each sub.

So now your saying he wasted money just to be an arrogant prick.

arrogant/ fake ... same thing.

vids indeed

Im going to go out on a limb here and say

This dude tried to act like he knew something and got pwned the ngot called out on his pwnage and now is trying to lie more to get himself out when he is just getting deeper. Is that the jist of the situation.

I will gladly admit i'm impressed, when i see anything remotely close to proof. Until then keep the BS to an acceptable level please. The two 12''s blowin the shield in driveby, in a trunk car, with a stock electrical set-up is too much, lol.

I say go for it man. I have 2 of the hfi 12"s and a crunch 1100 amp waiting to be installed in my friends car as soon as he pays me for it. I wouldnt doubt some guy broke the drive by record with them or whatever though, those cheap *** 12"s play the 50-60hz notes loud as hell sealed. Thus they would be good for drive by SPL as higher notes seem to get out of the car better for whatever reason. But dont play lows worth a ****, and if you try to port them low youre wasting your time IMO. I plan on trying 4 sealed on my M1000 when i get some extra cash to screw around with, ill update you on that.

All of the 12"s ive ran sounded mostly the same as far as output / frequency range. Comparing rockford, alpine, powerbass, MA audio, and MTX, id say the mtxs would be the best for spl, and they were cheap as **** like those hifonics. All the other stuff was semi-expensive

Veteran SPL competitor Eric Alexander, who is a 14-time World Finalist in dB Drag and MECA competitions, amazed the MECA crowds during the 2007 World Finals during his record setting Drive-By bursts which measures an incredible 136.7dB SPL average for over 30 seconds. The certified SPL meter was placed just 6-feet away from the vehicle. This score is 3.5dB over the previous record! Not only did Eric do this feat once, but he did it again to honor the crowd with a second run measuring over 137dB Eric's windshield broke from all the SPL pressure.

and this on 2 shitty 600 watt subs thart the R's ar ebetter than //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

there is the proof //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif the team page wont load so i cant access my account there to get the pics of the 8 sub setup or i would. he did the 136 on 2 of those hfi subs and stock electrical tho. and he was pushing close to 3kw to them lolz. the 2nd one is 2.1kw IIRC on 2 600 rms subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif so much for r's taking the juice eh?

dont get me qwrong because like i said i love r's but the bang 4 the buck is right here ^^^^^^
