12 - 12" hifonics HFI subs

lol.. wow.
neither is an R.. it's example. But thanks for proving my points of you both being retarded and Rs > hifis.

i've not been pissed, moreso amused at your stupidity. I know what they're designed to take.. just as I know more about ascoustics than you. I just used a simple obvious point as power to prove which was a better overall sub.. not for the price.. but you didn't say anything about price either so..

call it even and count your losses.

Ummm he just pwned you

And he rocks a station wagon

Take that you pvssy b1tch

lol ok whatever you say man you are right //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif but tell anyone that has actually used them that they ****. i have installed hundreds of r's and they are nice but these go just as loud on 1/3 the power. that was my point in the comparison. a sub doesnt need more power if it has a high bl and light cone. for the money these are every bit as good and cost 1/3 as much that is the point entirely. i wasn't bashing R's i have old school r's on 1100 rms for over 10 yrs and they still pound to this day on that same amp.

I love watching The Low go off on people.
hahaha. it does seem pretty entertaining...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

buuuut... here. i think you said you would go with the 8 hfi's ported? would this be a smarter route than 12 sealed?

he did it on 2600 watts with each sub in a 1 cf sealed box that they are not efficient in. he did it just to do it. he also broke the world record for drive by so...... you tell him it isnt impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I don't care how loud he is outside his car, you have to be inside to drive. A good set of train horns will do 160+ in drive-by, lol. 140 with 8 12''s is sad .

I was wrong but i'm saying random shit to justify trying to sound right
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

count losses as I said, you just cussed me out.. why try to sound yippie skippie now?

you shit my fuck i'll ass your mouth.

Yeah, i dont much much about the air movement between ported and sealed boxes but it seems obvious to me that ported should move more air so i would 8 ported. And it would keep costs down more.

exactly what is was thinking:D if i can save some money might as well save it. haha... it would be bada** to say im running 12 12's though... i think the sealed box would be sick though on any music.. it could be really punchy for some rock or just some quick notes. ya know. either way the subs would be walled. but ill end up doing 8-10 ported probably

i must not have made it clear enough, ok here goes.

he intentionally made a shitty *** box with 1/2 the airspace they require, and didnt even power them to rms wattage. he did it just as a gimmick to show that they were efficient even in less than optimal conditions.

the same guy also in a trunk car with 2 12's broke the drive by world record on stock electrical, then made a second pass for the crowd and blew his windshield out at almost 2 db more! just to say he did it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I would do 8 ported on 450 rms at least to each sub.
