Quality difference between USB, MP3 CD's, Music CD's?

Is there any quality difference that the head unit sees when using a flash drive or MP3 cd vs a typical 80 minute music disc? I know store bought cds have a higher bitrate thats not what i mean. It seems to me that when i use a CD burned with windows media player with only a few tracks, i seem to get alot better SQ and less distortion from the songs, vs playing them through USB or a mass media CD. Has anyone else looked into this before? I searched and couldnt pull up anything so i thought itd be an interesting topic to look into.

yea a cd will have better response....thats because when transferred to mp3 there is some quality lost and again when its put on mp3 player......

kind of like when you take a copy of a copy of a copy.

the final print will resemble the first , but it will just look like shit.
