From the research I’ve done it seems like they do best between 2-2.5 cubes tuned at 34 or so the recommended box size is crap from my looking so far but I could be way off. It’s not the full elite just XL with the elite motor. Holy balls the spiders are no joke on this monster it is stiff as shat and never felt spiders that hardcore.

It will probably soften up a good bit once it is properly broken in hopefully they didn't build it with a ton of extra spiders for SPL purposes but even if they did it might still sound just fine and if not I would seriously look into recounting it with all Elite parts probably wouldn't cost too much but I don't think you'll have any problems

Doesn’t have the extra spider contacted the authorized dealer that sold it to dude I bought it from. No options except being built off an elite motor.

Meaning a lower qes and higher Rms. Try 1.5ft^3

Not comparable. The Alpha is a great sub, but much more along the lines of our old Gcon, not the Icon.
