yea exactly thats what i dont get, the SE's combined have 1200 rms so i dont see how the w3's only rated at 600 rms combined. i dont get how the se's wont be way louder.

2 SE's will destroy two JLW3's

1 SE will be less loud than 2 W3's, but the W3's will be way more efficent.

well i have a 1606 hifonics and im running it at 1 ohm, so im pretty sure that my w3's cant handle that much power, so obviously it should be louder right?

k thats all i wanna no, do u no anything about instal? i have a 07 silverado with navigation head unit i have no preouts so i used a frequency converter tapped into the back door speakers. i have 4 gause wire all around with 8 gauge speaker cable, am i getting the most possible watts out of my amp as it is set up?

yes, they will be louder, even if you have a peice of crap Q logic box, the will sound better.

If you are giving them the same amount of power and in the same box then you aren;t going to notice a difference in loudness. If you have headroom on your amp and can turn it up more then you will be able to make the SE's louder as their power handling is about 2x as much as J W3's.

to be honset with the power u have keep the jl's

cuz u will bew sending them around 1200 watts if u want to be noticably louder with the se10's u will need 1k per sub...and they can take it daily

what are you talking about? The Se's are rated at 600 rms, the amp he has is perfect for the SE's. He doesn't need 1k per sub, he's got a 1606d amp man.
