i have 4awg running to a distro block feeding 4awg to a viper d1200.1 pushing 1200rms and 8awg to a profile ca600 pushing 300w rms.

im running 1500w rms total, i have a fuse about 2 feet from my battery and its 100a, is this going to do the job? if not what fuse will and what kind should i use?

you might need some bigger wires with that kinda rms you running..i run about 600w rms with my 4 guage and my amps are thirty for power

the fuse up front should be the size the wire can carry, i it makes you feel better i went with a 90a fuse with a 1200.1 and it never blew, your amps are not going to pull those amounts of current anyway

very true...i have a 100A fuse for my 2 amps..never blew...i always fuse according to fuse rating...i have a 60A and 40A fuse ratings...but hey my amps are small...and running at only 4 ohms to keep them cool...vipers are nice amps..tend to run hot...run them cool
