not worth it IMO, Yes its a good amp, but you are paying for the name. There are alot of amps that will do rated 1000 watts at 1ohm class D

Thats why I didnt bite...it sells for twice that on ebay. Member said he wanted to get rid of it quickly and was hoping the 'obo' tag might drive the price higher....

It is a very nice amp, but i wouldnt have one unless it was given to me for free, in which case id probably sell it for a decent 2kw+ amp

Id take Diamond, or Xtant, over it....also ive heard zapco is about the best you can get so...dunno though, never heard it. Cliff is also very good...A lot of you are going to disagree with this also...Id take a RF BD1000 first also

Sorry, but for that sorta money, I'd much rather have a DLS Ultimate A6.

Class AB vs. Class D

A6 is 1 ohm stable (the identical 2-ch A3 is .5 ohm stable) vs. 1.5 with the Slash 1000

Unregulated power (underrated, produces more at lower impendance and higher voltage) vs. regulated power

1000/1 is a great amp, don't get me wrong, but it sure is overppriced.

arent class ab amps usually used for your speakers...since they are what, like 25% efficient......
