1000w RMS = ¿? Awg

I am planning on eventually upgrading to a 1000w RMS amp of some kind. I currently have a 4 guage wiring kit ran, and I was wondering if I could use the same wires once I upgrade, or do I need to get 0/1 ? This is daily driving, no competitions in my future. What do you guys think?

Now can anyone reccomend a good 1000w RMS amp @1 or 4 ohms (DVC 4 ohm subs), that is around $400 or less.

Doesn't it depend on the type of amp?

I have a SoundStream amp with 800rms that can draw 130amps. 4g is rated to around there, isn't it?

Some amps might need more or less depending on their internals and what the amp draw is.

I think 4g would be cutting it close, and especially if you're using another 4-channel amp or something.

and the md2 is rated at 1521@1 and benched at 1900, was bought by someone for 475 (the md2)
