this is for ur car? Best bet would be to get a 2channel of some kind. Hard to think of any that makes that power at 4ohms tho. Best bet would be to look for perhaps older PPI or Soundstream amps

well since i was getting such a great sounding sub i was thinking that the tantrum would kind of kill some of the sq... if im wrong plz tell me because i will grab that amp in a heart beat

Well i was doing more research today and i found a hilfonics amp called zeus zxi 1006. The specs say that it can do 1000 rms bridged(2channelamp). But since its not a class d amp would it sound better or worse? It said it was hilfonics sq amp....

most hifonics amps are overrated.
