10" type r dual 4ohm

So my buddy picked up 2 of these and wats to put them in his mustang. What would be the best size volume and tuning for the box for these subs. also should each be in their own chamber or in different boxes. They will be taking 600watts rms each

Put them in a double box, ported. Go to Alpine's website and look up the specs.

Forget Alpines specs. 1.5-1.75 cubes per sub tuned to 33-35 hz for daily, imo. And yes, I have had type r 10's.

Yeh what Lakota said....we had a 10 R in a 1.8cu tuned at 28hz and it was prettttty impressive...good luck

Gettin the port to tune to 33 would make it how long. WinISD says 60in of port length
