10" Sub Question

I'm curious, I currently have a JL 10W3V2 in a .67cu ft box. Power is roughly 300 watts (that can be increased for the sake of discussion). Would I get a SIGNIFICANT increase in sound if I were to change the subwoofer to a different brand? If so which brand?

If you are talking about output, maybe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif , but I really don't think it can be THAT much!

For example, if you change the W3, for a W6 or W7 you sill notice the sound difference, and that's the same for all brands IDQs for ID MAX, L5s for L7s, Type Rs for Type X, and the list goes on and on and on.

Current setup meaning current box, and everything. I don't want to port it. I would like to keep it small. Space is a precious commodity in a Wrangler.

well you could just put it in a 1 cube ported to like 34hz with 15-20 sq. inches of port and you would stil not be using much room

i remember sitting in a wranglerand the sub was in a pressurized sealed box by using a "loading board". because its an open air vehicle,but im old school and havent really seen it ever again.
