10 inch Subs

I've been looking around (Vancouver, BC) for some cheap subs for my car.

A small shop i'm leanign towards is offering a pretty good deal on a pair of 10's and a box.

They'll set everything up, then pop in 2 different brands and let me decided which ones i like best.

However, their two main brand names, Dragster and Concept, are unkown to me.

Has anyone here heard of those brands, or have any experience with them?

Also, does anyone out there from the Lower Mainland area know any good shops to check out?

It's something around 400 for 2 10 inch, sealed box, amp wires, and everythign installed.

My friend's giving me his old one. I forget the model number, but it's an Alpine V12, and apparently should give off enough power. However, he didn't have the cables, which is why i gotta pay for them.

I've never heard of those but I know you can get a pretty **** good sub for $150 each. If it were me and I have $400 I would get 2 e10o's, and make my own box and buy a wiring kit from Walmart.

North Shore is a great store, Concept is a good brand and has been available in the BC market for 3 years now. I have stocked and sold the line for 3 years. The warranty service if needed is great as it is serviced in Coquitlam. Warranty is 3 years with exchange in the first year. Dragster is a line that is being promoted by the Rockford rep. When Rockford went into Future Shop (torture shop) the rep company needed something else to offer the indipendant dealers who were no longer going to support Rockford, this is where Dragster came from. I can't tell you too much about it other than it was offered to me, but I as a dealer was quite happy with Concept.
