Aero ports take up less internal airspace than slots do, move air quicker, but sometimes do have more port noise.

 

I've always done one chamber and IMO its the better way to go. Plus its easier to design and build.

theres a thread on here somewheres (i think) that shows how common chamber works better than seperate chambers

ive got a common chamber box for my 2 subs, and i didnt think it would go well but it surprised me compared to dual chamber

id go with common chamber for all 3 subs, along with slot port IMO, but it really depends on if you can get the correct dimensions to do slot to fit if not then aero port but either way im sure it is still gonna sound good.

yea i was thinkin of doing a common chamber cause it is eaisier to build, well would that make the cubic airspace one large size instead of smaller cubes? also what would be better to face the port, up or to the sides cause the seats would be up against the box so if i put a port it would have to be up or on the sides, have you ever seen the loaded kicker ported boxes, the single cab ones with the slot port on the bottom? i was thinking of that, what would be the best tune?

you could probably get away with just one, maybe two depends on how big they are and such

well i was thinking just one maybe on bottom now tuning, what would be the best to get loud, would it be better to be like 38 hz, i listen to alot of rap but i also listen to rock so i dont want to loose alot of punch, isnt a lower tuned port bigger then a higher tuned port? like wider and taller? with a port do you have to put it on the inside to like a pieace of wood across the box, instead of just cuttin a hole in the outside of the box?
