1 sub working more than another - Please help :)

check the rca's before you do that, mine seem to have a knack for loosening up

So it was a sealed box and by letting air into it you made it into an improperly sized ported box.

That could have helped in screwing up the subs. Also setting the gain on the amp correctly is a MUST. Use the guidlines in the amp forum.

Dude, there is a hole in your box, your subs rely on the box being sealed (or ported correctly) to load. Fix your hole, your subs will like you more afterwards.

I had this exact same problem but with different subs. Unless something was wrong with my DMM, but subs read correct. I did get a faint smell but just thought it was the box. Sent it to company(sub), got a new one and problem was solved....
