meh do you mean 1 run of 1/0 or 2 runs of 4/0? cause the thread title doesnt really make much sense otherwise.

what equipment are you running? rms wattage and total fuse amp rating of all amps being used.

Think you have it backwards..2 runs of 4/0 and 1 run of 1/0? I asked a question similar to this awhile ago, and I got the response that 2 runs of 4/0 is about equal to 2/0.

I think I understand the question, he means which would be better, (1) run of 4/0 gauge wire, (welding I assume) or (2) runs of Kicker Hyperflex 1/0 gauge.

Dont know man, but imo i would do the Hyperflex.

I am going to assume that u are talking about welding cable. So I will say use the Kicker. The Kicker has 4704 strands in their 1/0, which is 9408 you will be working with. I have seen some 4/0 welding with as low as 2000 strands, so u might want to look into that B4 you buy.

Someone please correct me if i am wrong but I was told power only travels on 2/3s of the wire, and i would rather have 2/3s of 9408 the 2000.

Just because they have between 2,000-3,000 strands doesn't mean anything. They are bigger strands then the hyperflex thus the less number of strands.

4/0 gauge is not the same as 4 gauge

Yeah somebody is lost. Do you mean 4/0 guage, which is 4 sizes BIGGER than 0 guage? Or do you mean 4 guage, which I think that's what u mean...
