1 or 4 Channel

Im gonna be running three speakers in my setup, and I wanted to know which amp is best for running an odd number speaker system.

1 channel amp

or

4 channel amp

Can you explain why as well thanks.

4 Channel = channel 1 and 2 will run your left and right speakers and bridge channels 3 and 4 to run your sub.

Could also do a 5 ch.

2 channels bridges on each speaker and sub on sub channel

In reality you could use any amp provided it has the right crossovers and the final load of your speakers wont fry it
