1 or 2 subs?

I would go with one high quality sub, but it depends on what you want to do. If you just want to get loud for cheap, I know somebody that has three W0's off 500 watts that can get pretty loud for the money, but the sound quality is lacking somewhat.

I want to put it into a ported box. I dont want to go really cheap. I want some subs with low frequencies and have a lot of bass where people can feel me comin. I thought about getting alpine type r's cause there not too much 2 12" or one 15".

ok would u go with 2 jl 12 W3's or 1 brahma 12 or 15?
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imo.gif.3a57bcc70a4835dc53e86ffae1a0b041.gif 1 is good, 2 is better.

Go with 2 jl W3v2 like me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

1 is good, 2 is better.
ceteris paribus, yes. (* all else being equal)

However, due to the higher linearity and better overall design of the Brahma, I would go with one 15" instead of those two 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
