1 ohm

its not the ohm that would be any real concern here. its your wattage. how many watts are you looking at running?
That actually depends man... Certain amps draw more current @ 1 ohm than they do 2-4...

 
How so? I am going to use my ARC SE 2300 for example here as maybe I am confused...
1 channel @ 4 ohms = 1300wrms = 147A

1 channel @ 2 ohms = 1300wrms = 184A
Is that from the manual? That would be some new information for me. I didn't think it would be that much difference. Must be a lot more heat being lost in the amp running a higher current.
