I am getting a 1976 280z tomorrow and interior is the first thing I am refinishing and upgrading. I want to put a new cd player and four new speakers. Two of the speakers will go in the back where speakers originally didnt exist from the factory. I know there is a wireing issue with cd players in older vehicles. What will I need? Will I have to worry about the cd player and four new speakers being to much for the electrical system to handle?
Also, For the rear speakers, I was going to splice the front speaker wires and then run new wires under the carpet to the back. Then I realized that if I do this, I wont have the option of adjusting the rear speakers seperately from the front. How do I hook up these new speakers?
