I have an earthquake 5000 watt amp. its 2 ohm stable with 3000 rms and 5000 peak. Earthquake said it could be wired to 1 ohm for short periods of time..so basically for burps at comps. my question is..could it be wired to 1 ohm for daily driving with good cooling and careful gain? or should it be avoided?

avoid 1 ohm on it for daily.

i wouldnt do it either, ecspecially if its not 1 ohm stable

anything can be 1 ohm stable for a certain amount of time, just some is longer then others. and the short ones are just stable until they blow
