from what i understand i'd do the dual 2 ohms cause you realy wont hear the difference of distortion between the two configurations . youll just get a little louder with the extra 250 going to each rl-swas wondering the same question. I have a US Amps MD2 its rated 1000x1 @ 2 ohms and 1500 x1 @ 1 ohm. I am goign to buy 2 12" RL-P's. Which one should I buy d2 or d4? If i wire both of them to 2 ohms I will get rougly 500w per sub and if i wire by 1 ohm i can probably get 750ish each sub. Which would be better? This is for a daily driver so I need to know if im damaging or risking anything.
Sorry OP if I am thread jacking.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif
You need the dual 4 to get that 1 ohm load. Dual 2 won't do it.from what i understand i'd do the dual 2 ohms cause you realy wont hear the difference of distortion between the two configurations . youll just get a little louder with the extra 250 going to each rl-s
