can i control 2 amps with only 1 bass knob on non-strapped amps?

I've never used a gain knob before

i have 2 crescendo 3kwp's and i want to use the gain knob, but i don't want to use for each amp.

can i use a jack splitter or something along those lines? or do i have to use a knob for each amp?

Thanks, John

no, you can't do what you are describing. if you use splitter the amps will see the wrong resistance. characterize the resistance of the bass knob the amps come with, and buy a potentiometer with the same specs, but two swipes. Look on Digikey.com for potentiometers with two separate swipes. you'll need to know the resistance range. for this, you'll need to take the bass knob apart and meter the terminals. or call the amp manufacturer, talk to tech support engineers, and ask them what the range is.

so you can have one knob to control both equally, but it'll be custom as described above.
