I posted what I had to say and you got upset. Designs come with cut sheets and tech support when needed. I have fixed several of your designs myself. I don't see what your doing as helping anyone but yourself. Your wanting others to pay for you to try and learn. How is that fair to others? Do what the rest of us did the learn do it for yourself and friends at no charge. Think of it as homework. You were asking questions to members on this very forum about what to do when designing just a few months or less ago. Not to mention that you abuse this very forum. Your designs are less then what anyone should pay for and I have had turn down builds based on your designs.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for helping out but you are helping yourself more rhen others.

Your attitude today is fine, however your whole upset drama about the forum changing with the formation of the vendor area was just outlandish and childish. Im not posting anything else that is down grading on the forum, if you want more info feel free to om me. .

Which designs have you fixed that are mine? I make mistakes, I have no doubt about that. I'd actually like to hear about what is wrong with them, to see if I can improve. But just because you fixed a design, means you fixed it the way you wanted it. You don't know what my intentions were for that box nor what information I was given. I have no doubt that you are probably a better designer than I am, and so is Ryan. But there is a reason I do these designs for a dollar, and used to do them for free. I never claim that I know it all, and I would be ignorant to do so.

What you must understand is I do these for $1, because when I did them for free, many people were bs'ing me. The charge is to eliminate the bs'ers. You can twist that however you want, but that's how it is. Do you seriously think that I do this for the money?

When I add it up, I probably make 1-2 hr, and that's probably at 30 mins a day designing. Think about that. I maybe make 5 bucks a week designing? If I had it my way, I wouldn't charge money for those who actually use the design.

I hope not, but posting threads offering a service which leads me to think you are doing it for money. I don't a problem with you posting in other threads that you can do them for cheap as long you make sure they understand that you are only doing them to get better at them. As for me adjusting them to what I want, that is not how i design. I make 100% sure that it works for the customer and what they want. I will redo it 10 times or more if I need to.

I think we are both on the same page here, and I understand where you are coming from. I just think you have the wrong idea about me. I actually really like to help people out. That's all I'm doing. If people didn't BS me, the designs would be free. You have actually made me think. I'm going to start refunding the dollar to people who actually build my boxes.

And I may not be the best designer, but I give most people a very affordable way to start out. I'm more than happy to explain my knowledge to anyone that wants to know.

What is funny is I'm not upset for myself. Many offer buck more then...well a buck. Many are very upset when they find out the design is not what was asked for. I have more to say then what is posted but I see no since in keeping this degrading way of posting up. I'm not alone in what I speak of. Take it as you will.

Me for example I have no idea how to design a ported box I'm sure his design would be totally worth it for me. He doesn't advertise performance, he advertises cheap designs I've never once heard him say his box should out perform another or should perform really well. He just does cheap designs practically for free. I would understand people being upset if he claimed they would perform well at all but he simply doesn't. All his boxes need to be are better than prefabs which I'm sure they are.

I have more to say then what is posted but I see no since in keeping this degrading way of posting up. I'm not alone in what I speak of. Take it as you will.

I encourage people to speak up. I'm not perfect, and I'm not scared of criticism. It's not like I'm going to get mad at people for not liking my design, I just try to improve for next time. Like said, I'm for starters. If people are extremely picky about what their box sounds like, then maybe they should put more into it.

i'm still interested in seeing which/where designs that had mistakes.. had the mistakes. Pro, show us a few. it'd help to show where buck could improve and also what difference the mistakes being corrected make. Buck can do a design for me no problem.. he still knows mountains more of information on designing than I probably ever will and I trust his work 100%. I am by no means doubting your work but for the price buck offers his services, he's the go to man for the average person or someone on a tight budget. I've bought a design from Ryan before and never got to use it as I got another vehicle but if I had to redo it, i'd like to see what buck would have come up with on that front/price difference as it had a decent amount of work involved with angles etc.
