1/2 inch for Amp Rack?

Can I use 1/2 inch wood for my amp rack im building behind my seats? I dont know if my amps will tear the wood apart or not.

I will put 2 Sundown 1000d's and 1 100.4 on this box.

Initial wood of choice was Birch just because its redily available at lowes or HD but its pretty expensive. 2x4 sheet 1/2 inch thick is $10.98

my amp rack is 3/4" OSB and it has held up well for the past year, so 1/2" birch should be good
