I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer 4dr and I will be doing the big 3 upgrade using 1/0gauge power cable and I was wondering what battery terminals should I use? What do you guys recommend/suggest. Links would be great. Thanks in advanced.

BTW: Using the 1/0 gauge power cable it will be safe removing the stock cables, correct?

Not sure about the battery terminals, i need some myself. Right now i did mine with 1/0 and ring connectors and bolted them to my stock terminals, some on the bigger bolt and some on the small bolts that hold the wires in it. But like he said, add to the stock wire, dont remove it.

Those are for the 0 gauge cable Right??

Description: This Positive Battery Terminal is designed for flexibility and high power handling of large systems. Available in Nickel Silver, these terminals each have one 1/0 and one 4 Gauge output and an additional ring terminal port making this one of the most versatile Battery Terminals available. With this extra option, you can now have TWO 1/0 outputs and one 4 gauge out or TWO 4 gauge and one 1/0. The range of options is endless, allowing the installer to tailor the terminal to his needs. Its priced at 1.75$ a foot which is a resonable price but is it worth paying for?? This will be for the BIG 3 upgrade... I will not be upgrading my car audio systm in the future and will sick with my current amps 08ZX750.1 kicker mono amp and cadence exineth 120.2. Or should i spend nearly 4 $ on the collosus power cable?? My money is a little low so i was leaning towards the 1.75 a foot cable but not shure if it is even worth spending that for the big 3 upgrade. BTW thanx for the link for those terminals. Bst price i have seen. THNX again

A lot of people on here will tell you to get the bigger kollussus wire because it's copper and the KLMX line is copper clad aluminum. But for 90% of the installs on here, you will not need the amount of current that the kollussus can carry. The KLMX is rated for loads up to 250A and that's plenty for most applications. I've used it on a lot of my installs and never had a problem. If your going with less than 2000 watts I'd say go for the KLMX. If your going to be running more than that, it might be worth it to move up to the bigger stuff.

But it never hurts to prepare for the future, even if your only running 500 watts, in a couple months you'll probably want to upgrade, and if you run the bigger stuff now, you won't have to worry about upgrading that later //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
