Anyone here have an 8th generation Honda Accord?

If you do what system do you have in it and what does your trunk look like? Im trying to figure out how to build a box my 12" XCON subwoofer but the trunk is so stupidly designed. its very wide towards the trunk opening then goes very narrow as you move towards the seats due the wheel wells arching up into the floor. I dont want to Kill my entire trunk space by having to build a box and put it towards the trunk opening cuz i need to use my trunk

here is a picture of how the trunk looks (you can see what im talking about how stupid the design is

and here is a picture of when i had my alpine type R's in them. had it squeezed in the back portion between the two wheel well/arches

it ***** i cant just build a nice flat box in there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

glass a box into the driver's side. you can make it all out of wood if you want also, just more pieces that should probably be fiberglass-reinforced at the seams. keep the sub as close to the rear as possible for corner loading. the trunk support is the only hurdle, so work around it.

Put a board at the bottom to smooth out the floor it will take a little from your max height but you cam gain width and depth.

idk why you see fitting a 3cube box in there as difficult you had a 2 cube box in there previously whats another cube 4 inches wider

ill see what i can dig up

i assumed you would run it sealed since you were concerned about space. i also assumed the enclosure would extend the entire depth of the trunk - in which case volume greatly increases.

don't limit yourself to a rectangle and you can gain a lot of volume very quickly.

ya no it has to be ported, which is why im trying to come up with something while still having some trunk space because i need to carry my photo/video equipment in my trunk (photographer/videographer here). I need to talk to Proline Audio in Brooklyn, they do all custom trunk builds
