04 Silverado Speaker Boxs

Hi

I have a 04 chevy silverado ext cab pickup

Pioneer headunit

50x4 alpine amp

8" sub in ported box under back seat

I would like to make some speaker boxs to set ON my back seat. I like my music coming from behind me. I don't really want to mount speaker IN the back door

Would anyone have suggestions on what kind of box I could use for this application.

I don't have any speakers yet....not sure what size to get. Was thinking about some 6" coaxials

Back in the day I used to have 6x9 triaxials mounted in the back window deck of my cars but I don't know if the 6x9s are used much anymore.

I listen to mostly older Rock music

I have decided to use some 6x9 speakers.

So I need to build some speaker boxs for 6x9s

Are there any specs I should use for speaker box's for 6x9s ?

Ported , Sealed ?

Size requirments ?

Deadening mat for inside the box ?

What kind of mat. should I use ?

Or ...............should I just buy some prefab box's ?
