If you can build the same box that puts up the same numbers...do it. I think a lot of people would love to see it.

2.5cf + per sub, plenty of port area, plenty of power. It's not tough. I don't have the time to sit around and build boxes. I'm about to start one for my SX15 in a couple days, will post pics if available.

I totally agree with the whole warranty thing...but to me...the subs are 100 each (maybe a little more shipped) on ebay. Why worry about a warranty. It's not an RE MT18 or anything...

Hm. Let's take some Type R's, put them in a box that will void the warranty, and throw way more than rated power at them. Not saying they can't take it, I just hope you realize what you are working with.
On top of this, anyone could build an upfiring box with a large port out the side that is way too big for recommended specs. Nothing hard to understand here.

I could have built you the same box and you wouldn't have hade to pay for shipping...

Are you being sarcastic?

Because I doubt a lot of manufacturers would warranty a driver played in an enclosure several times larger than Vas with the same amount of power recommended in a much smaller enclosure...that falls under improper usage, not an intrinsic problem with the driver...
