I have a Pioneer deh-p9200r. should i upgrade? also looking for photos and advice

Hello everyone!

I am having trouble making a decision and thought the best place for info would be here....

I have a Pioneer deh-p9200r that I bought off of ebay for 165$ plus shipping....

I havent used it yet but dont know if I should sell it or keep it.

I dont want to go through the trouble of getting it installed and then change my mind and want to upgrade....

Here is the specs on my deck.... msrp: 680$? (in 2000)

I have seen all of the new pioneers that have come out lately and now I think I might have made a mistake of buying this one... It doesnt have MP3 playback but has a bunch of features i dont need such as an alarm and radio features...

Would I be better off selling this and buying a better deck such as the 8600mp?

Whats the best pioneer deck out?

Id appreciate any advice or opinions. I would also like to see some photos of people's displays of thier pioneers if that is possible....

best one will be the 9800bt or the premier edition of it once it comes out. that is less of the AVICs. i have the 860 and i say yes it is worth the upgrade.

man, i remember wanting one of those so bad when they first came out! that thing even has RDS? mine doesnt have that

Hey, thanks for the input m48xhp....

I see on ebay right now they have a faceplate for the p9200r listed for 160$, so maybe I can make some money off this and get a better one? So is a 8600 better than this?

Anyone have any pics of their decks?

havnt played with the 9200 in 6-7 years, but id say it is much better. look for a 860 if you can though. they are a lil better than the 8600
