119db

The mic was in the guys hand held up near the dash.

I was in a Future Shop SPL contest, in the 5 sub catergory.

I did 119 playing I like Big Butts.

Winner turned a 123db.

So what the hell?

119 vs 123 is a big jump.... what was he running?

I was running a 12" Clif Designs CD120c in a 2.5cu box tuned to 45hz. from 35hz to 55hz.

Run off my Ultimate t3.

The four bass tubes ran from 55hz to 85hz.

hahaha ill tell u right now that all of those systems u just named would score better then you FREE AIR.....unless they had no clue what they were doing, and were running subs off of their head units etc. something is fishy....a basstube is probly the worst thing ive ever herd of in a car as far as bass goes.....id rather get one of those bass shakers that vibrate to music....so i highly doubt that 2 l7's lost to a bass tube and i know everyone will agree wt me

I never said the L7's lost to me they were probably second or third.

I don't believe the meter would be set high enough for the tubes to register.
