02 olds intregue system!

My friend has a 02 oldsmobile intregue with 2 old school kicker solobaric 12s in a sealed box with a lanzar vibrant amp, which is pretty loud for what it is. He is looking to spend around 1000 bucks.. What should i recommend him he wants LOUD BASS hammering shit. I suggested 2 L7 12" subs in a 34hz ported box... What do you guys suggest in that price range for 2 subs box and maybe amp?

Thats what i was thinking... Should i go with the 2 L7 12s with ported box for 600 or 2 15" L7 kicker subs for 700 no box?
